Resurrection rolls

These resurrection rolls are a yummy and fun way to share with kids the story of Jesus' resurrection. It has become our family tradition every Easter.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tube Pillsbury crescent rolls
  • 8 large marshmallows
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter
  • 1 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • Flour for dusting work surface

Instructions
 

  • Open and unroll crescent rolls onto floured surface. Divide crescent roll dough into 8 equal squares and pinch perforated parts of the dough until dough is smooth.
  • Roll a large marshmallow in melted butter to cover.
  • Roll buttered marshmallow in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • Wrap marshmallow with a crescent roll square. Make sure dough is pinched closed and that there are no holes or openings.
  • Place each roll into muffin tin
  • Bake rolls at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. 

Notes

*It is important to make sure that the dough is sealed well to prevent marshmallows from bursting out during baking.
